Celebration of Life: Funeral Receptions and Wakes
A funeral reception, or wake, is a time for people to come together, to support one another and to remember a loved one. For many it helps create a sense of closure after the funeral service, with the sharing of a meal or drink providing a moment of comfort after what is often an emotionally draining day.
Blisworth Clubhouse is the ideal venue for funeral receptions and wakes. With the Counties Crematorium, Northampton, being only 10 minutes away along with easy access to the M1, A45 and A43, we are the perfect venue. Having only one room we can offer grieving families a personal reception with privacy to spend time together.
Included in the cost of room hire is the sole use of the main room (14m by 8m) which accommodates up to 120 people; tables and chairs, and access to our fully licensed bar. Other facilities available include free parking; accessibility for anyone with mobility impairments; a license covering music for you to play your own music; TV screen to project own photos and memories, and free Wi-Fi. The cost of room hire is £40 per hour.
