History

Back in the 1950s (the decade in which the DNA double helix was discovered, Sputnik was launched, Queen Elizabeth II became monarch, and James Bond was created), Blisworth Football Club Trading Limited Clubhouse was built.

A cream coloured building set back from the side of the pitch (housing the bar and changing rooms), the original building had adjoining sections of cover which extended from the front of the building to provide shelter. Over the years, additions were made.

In 2017, Blisworth Football Club Trading Limited started to look in securing funds for a new clubhouse and changing room rebuild. This need of a renovation was required to keep pace with how the Club was expanding on the pitch. With the clubhouse being at the heart of the community of Blisworth, and set in a rural location, this new build brings hope for the residents in bringing them closer together. It is also a beacon for all kinds of occasions where people from near and far can use the venue to hold their important event.

Thanks goes out to The London Marathon Charitable Trust, West Northants and The Football Association for their grants making this possible.
